Coaching Week 1 and 2

I run group and individual coaching sessions. My group coaching sessions can be divided into five-week courses and included fitness, tactics, basics and movement. I have included below a copy of one of the five-week courses that I currently run. Should you wish to have more information on other coaching plans then please e-mail me.
Please ensure that you arrive at the club early and fully prepared to do a full 90-minute work out session. The cost of training (5 sessions), which is payable in advance, is $75-$100 depending on squad size.
In order to win you must attack the ball and place your opponent under pressure. Always attack the ball positively and confidently. Create openings by pressurizing your opponent to play a loose ball. Attack when you have an easy ball and your opponent is out of position. Good attacking shots are: hard low drive, straight drop and various volleys.

0-10 Good Warm Up
10-25 Weak Boast, Killer Drive, Weak Boast
25-40 Weak Boast, Killer Drive, Weak Boast, Killer Cross Court
40-45 Break
45-60 Weak Drive, Killer Volley Drive and Killer Cross Court Volley
0-05 Weak Front Drive, Volley Boast
05-20  Boast, Drop, Cross Court Lob and Volley Drive
20-30 Pyramid Runs

Good defensive play can be the key to winning squash. It is not just retrieving and avoiding errors, good defense gives you the T, moves your opponent to the back corners and deprives them the opportunity to attack. Use length and width, watch the ball, recover to the  T, vary the pace and play it safe. The best defensive shots are: deep drives, lobs and defensive boasts.0-10 Good Warm Up
10-20 Deep, Straight Drives in Pairs. Start with a Serve. Forehand.
20-30 Deep, Straight Drives in Pairs. Start with a Serve. Backhand.
30-40 Volley Cross Court from the Service Box.
40-45 Break
45-55 Boast, Cross Court Lob, Volley Drive. Forehand.
55-05 Boast, Cross Court Lob, Volley Drive. Backhand.
05-15 Boast, Drive with the Player at the Back Boasting or Driving.
15-25 ¾ Game but with Both Players trying to Play Defensive.
25-30 Pyramid Runs
